The Records Division job is to take care of all reports and permits that the Sheriff's Dept. is responsible for.
Gun Permits (Monday—Friday 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., prior to 8:00 a.m. call office or ask at the bar doors for the secretary)
Lifetime with a valid permit is $100.00 ($40.00 in office and $60.00 to state)
Lifetime no permit is $125.00 ($50.00 in office and $75.00 to state)
Four year permit is $40 ($10.00 in office and $30.00 to state)
VIN Check fee $4.00
Fee must be paid in office prior to deputy being sent out. Must have VIN check form from BMV.
Accident Report fee $5.00 (* Indiana Code: IC 9-29-11-1 )
Sex Offender Registration fee $50.00
Sex Offender Change of address or employment fee $5.00
No fee for background checks.
No fee for accident photographs but requester will need to provide a disk for them to be put on.
No fee for incident reports. Pick up in office or fax request.
Out of State Civil Process fee $60.00 per person per address.
